At Safarkar.com, we strive to provide a seamless travel booking experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which cancellations, changes, and refunds will be handled for services booked through our platform.
1. General Policy
- All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing (email) or through your user account on Safarkar.com.
- Each service (flights, hotels, tour packages, etc.) is subject to its own cancellation and refund rules as defined by the respective service providers (airlines, hotels, tour operators).
- Refund amounts will vary depending on the time of cancellation, type of service, and provider terms.
2. Flight Bookings
- Cancellations and changes are subject to airline policies and fare rules.
- Some discounted fares may be non-refundable or have high cancellation charges.
- Date changes, seat selection, or baggage upgrades may incur additional fees.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting airline charges and service fees.
3. Hotel Bookings
- Cancellation terms vary by property. Some bookings may allow free cancellation within a specific window, while others may be non-refundable.
- No-shows or early checkouts may result in full or partial charges as per hotel policies.
- Refunds will be processed after deducting hotel cancellation charges and Safarkar service fees.
4. Tour Packages
- Tour package cancellations must be made at least 7–30 days prior to departure depending on the destination and package type.
- Charges may include:
- Non-refundable deposits
- Hotel/transport cancellation fees
- Guide charges, permits, or ticket costs already paid in advance
- Partial refunds may be applicable for cancellations made within the specified window.
5. Refund Timeline
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used.
- Processing time:
- Flights/Hotels: 7–21 business days
- Tour Packages: 10–28 business days
- In case of payment gateway delays, we will provide transaction references for you to follow up.
6. No Refund Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided for:
- No-shows or failure to cancel within allowed time
- Rejected visa or travel documents not being ready
- Disruption of travel due to personal or medical issues without valid insurance
- Services booked during peak seasons, festivals, or under special offers (if marked as non-refundable)
7. Force Majeure
In the event of travel disruption due to events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), cancellation and refund policies will follow guidelines provided by service providers. Partial refunds or credits may be provided, but full refunds are not guaranteed.
8. CANCELLATION / AMENDMENT POLICY
- Within 15 - 21 days of the date of arrival, 50% of the package cost will be charged as retention.
- Within 07 - 14 days of the date of arrival, 75% of the package cost will be charged as retention
- Any cancellation less than 07 days full retention will be charged
